NFL Draft

Anyone going to be watching it tonight and tomorrow night?

Anyone else hate the new format as much as I do? I mean, WTF, starting it at 4:30 pm on the west coast, so that "More fans can see the draft" compared to having it all day on Saturday? Huh? That makes no sense.

I do think the new format will mean more trades happen, though, as teams get long breaks between rounds 1 & 2, and 3 & 4, so they may see someone they had high on their board still available, and try and jump up the draft listings to get them.

You guys' thoughts?

The drafts (NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, ...) are boring as hell. I don't know how a person can sit through it especially all the inane chatters between the so called experts.

Love love love the Chiefs taking Berry. All the top teams have a badass safety, great guy to build around.

Surprised Tebow went in the 1st.

Will be funny to see Tate go before Clausen lol.

49ers took 2 supposedly really good OL. I can't complain. Helps Smith, and really helps Gore.

Sporting News gives out its Draft grades:

49ers get an A-

And in a complete reversal of several years of tradition, OAKLAND actually had a good draft, and also got an A-. The thing with them I found most hysterical is that all sorts of pundits were saying that Oakland would take that OL, Campbell at 8th overall in the 1st. Instead they got him at pick 8 of the FOURTH.... Slightly better value, eh? rofl.
