i must be cursed, as i am 0 for 5 myself. every team i root for loses:

1993 denver - in the rockies' inaugural season (back when they still played at Mile High), they got killed by the braves
1995 chicago - cubs got blasted by the giants at wrigley (saw barry* hit a homer though)
2008 denver - rockies got shelled by the marlins at their new stadium
2009 milwaukee - brewers smacked around cubs
2010 kansas city - red sox rattled Greinke and then torched KC's bullpen (HRs: 2 tek, 1 youk, 1 hermida, 1 pedroia)

only exception: in 2009, the very next day after the brewers/cubs game, i went to a rangers/shitesox game in chicago. the rangers wtfpwnd them, but as i wasn't really rooting for the rangers so much as rooting against the South Side Circus, i can't justify calling that a W
