Obama with power to shut down Internet

So we get the GOP taking away our basic right to privacy with the stupid so-called "Patriot Act" - now Obama can shut down the Internet for four months under the guise of "cyber terrorism."
Great - so now ONE MAN has the power to shut down one of the most prolific means of communication and information exchange the world has ever seen.
I guess I should add an accent to "Sieg Heil!" now huh?
