i am happy to report that my time is very gradually increasing since surgery... up to 40:59 now--which yes, i know, a 13-minute mile really isn't that exciting. BUT, i have defective legs, so this all seems pretty awesome to me. I'd eventually like to get it to around 30-35. i am realistic enough to know that i'll never be "fast," but i'm just hoping to improve my endurance enough to eventually hit up a half-marathon. :D
