I saw your namesake last night. Well, on Taxx's screen. He got stuck in some zone 7 levels to high for him, and he stumbled across your camp. I can't believe they were that desperate for for character names. :P

Being the game has roots in several EQ guilds, you can see many NPCs who were named after their EQ namesakes.

I have seen the Guards on the Alliance side. I plan on running my blade through them one day.
Ok that would have sounded much cooler if I owned a blade, 2 handed staffs are the roxxors

They're naming their NPC's after EQ players? ROFL how completely gay and lame is that? Talk about cheezy... just add this to yet another reason I have zero intentions of buy this game. Thank God for EQ2.

They named some characters after the power gaming guilds of EQ, the ones that were invited as guilds to play in Beta. LoS is one from the Nameless.

Except many of the original EQ NPCs were named after MUD players Brad knew, so it's cyclical...
Anyways, there are thousands of NPCs, and only a handful have their roots in ex EQ WOW guilds...
I'll play whichever game is better.. I'm still bummed that Warhammer Online got cancelled...

I'll see the content at release, and I have a level 40 char on PVP so I've seen a lot of the content <but by no means all>.
Its been too nice to be home, and since I'm essentially playing alone on beta <versus easy grouping on PVP> its been a bother to level.

It'd help if you got your own beta account.

Awesome.
Actually, due to real life I have little time for WOW, and I'm tired of 'whack a mole' playing. WOW is EQ done right, but I'm not sure I want to EQ again.
I'm purchasing Jump to Lightspeed when it comes out and will most likely be playing some SWG as it holds the most interest for me, and to be honest I'm bored of WOW.

I was on the other night for a few hours.
The more I think about it, the more I think the wave of the future is playing several MMOs. I have more fun when I have a variety and I'm not just grinding or sticking to one game...
SWG + 1 Fantasy Game + Planetside = the way of Kyo 8)

yah me too.... Warhammer Online looked great. It really had a very sinister look to it, which is a big break from all the other generic fantasy games being produced now.
