Doom3 peoples.. whats your FPS?

Set system options to 1024x768 and High
Then hit Control + Alt + Tilda(~) and type in timedemo demo1
You need to do it 2 or 3 times to ensure textures are loaded.
My FPS is 31. Just curious what others are getting

Solid 40 in 1600x1200 Usually. One Setting below the highest on graphics.

Abit AN7 nForce 400 (fsb oc to 533)
Athlon XP 3000+
1 gig Corsair DDR400 PC3200
nVidia 6800 GT 256mb
WD 200 gig 8mg 7200rpm
The system was put together about 8 months ago, I just added the 6800 last week. Doom and Farcry are pretty amazing now. Farcry is giving me over 100fps in 1024 and high settings in single player, 60-70 in multi.

Well there are a lot of tweaks that you can download to make it run much better you should look around.

i get 70ish normally on high with all options turned on but the game still sucks

Min, your Rig is similar to mine. Is the GT 6800 worth it? What'd you run before?
I'm looking at upgrades, but I dont want to drop the 2k into a new system (Although 1600 FSB is appealing).
Atalya, its a pretty good benchmark indicator (if you run it on high, lower than high and its not a good one).

I previously had a GeForce fx5600se 256mb. I played Farcry normally with it. Around 35fps. I sold that for $100, and bought the 6800 for $409 (
http://www.zipzoomfly.com), $300 out of my pocket for it was more than worthwhile. I haven't tweaked anything with doom, I've only played for about an hour then got fed up. I'm sure I could squeeze more out of it. This should be my "system" for at least the next 1-2 years.

I get about 2 fps before it crashes. np.
Farcry I get 35-40 fps.

Question on the light level in the game. My monitor tends to be a bastard when it comes to the whole gamma/brightness settings going all wonky, and Im wondering, just how hard is it supposed to be to see in the game without using your flashlight???

There is a mod to put light on all the weapons, if you go to fileplanet.
