I asked this about 1 day after I started playing beta but I have a better gauge of the game now.

Shaman, Warrior or Mage.

My only problem with Shaman is that they are crazy popular with the BNet losers that I hate so much. Were they a good unit in WC3? I didn't play it much and rarely played Orc when I did.

Priest unless they continue to mold me into a cleric...

Warrior if not.

Warlock and a Priest and I want to level them both up to have alts when needed. I am thinking Kizzy and Silvy for names.

If we get it at release I will most likely play a Rogue or Druid and a Priest.

Since everyone jumps on the bandwagon and plays the easiest no talent classes, I will probably play whatever class is weakest at release.

What is that supposed to mean?

Edit: Which completely kills me because I thought for sure WoW would be the first mmog where pure melee would not only be not-completely gimp, but also *gasp* fun to play.

The more I read, the less I look forward to WoW, and that makes me a sad panda.

What? Right now it's one of the most popular classes...so I doubt i'll play a rogue.

Meaning that I will pick whichever class is gimped/the class that nobody plays at release.

Mage -Subject to change since there are several I really like.

Probably warrior or paladin, depending on which side I play.

I have always hated Hunters more the Warlocks, everyone knows that.

Now, if they stay as they are, and I hope they do, and you decide to make one because they are then going to be the crappiest class, then I wont join your guild. I just have a moral issue being led by a Hunter, sorry.

He won't be a hunter, I think he hates them as much as you.

you can pretty much guarantee that they will balance the classes given enough time.. so you should just play what you like.

i will most likely make a mage or warrior on release both horde of course.

I'm loving rogue on beta 2, lvl 39 now, and I can solo things 5 levels above me with some good timing, and I'd like to say skill. I also love it when I run around a horde area and someone a few levels above me challenges me to a duel, thinking I'll be easy prey, and I rape them.

So far my record ambush is 1116, and that was a few levels ago with a weaker weapon... The poison system is interesting but too easy at the moment, everything is vendor bought, I went from 1 to 190 poison skill in a few minutes from one vendor, and off of one recipe, I hope it's not like that at release. I also hope they add more poisons with different effects. Overall, Rogue is a great class, but I wonder how much will change by release.

Here's one of the highlights so far... racing against a 5 minute server coming down warning to kill this dude ;p
