ok downloaded the open beta will let you all know in about a week or so

Been playing since beta2. I've loved this game so far. I like the open PVP and the clan wars side of it. The graphics are pretty amazing also. DE rogue here, working on shadow assassin.

Yeah, I was in beta as well. The graphics are most definatly the best I've ever seen in an mmorpg.

The dwarf charector model is the best.

Still holding out for WoW.

Yeah, been playing for a week now. Only during the moring though, since any other time you get net cong Got PKed once, so now I stalk he and wait for my chance to strike

Oh, and quests can be fustrating, since the quest item drops to the person who gets the killing blow, no matter who. So you have mages and archers sniping your mobs at the last moment, very aggrivating. But most fuck off after you hit them real hard a few times

The dark elf lands are beautiful, reminds me much of Morrowind

but i give lineage II thumbs down. it's basically just another DAoC, except you can only start as two classes.

the most fucked up part is this karma/pvp system. if you attack someone you go purple and can be attacked, and it seems that if you defend yourself you go purple and anyone is free to gang bang you. at least UO's criminal system would allow you to defend yourself :roll:

Lineage 2 has amazing boobies.

You only go purple for a whole few minutes. And noone usually takes advantage of this because you could turn white any second.

Theyll usually wait to see if you turn red or not. And if youre red, you get gang raped by everyone in sight. When red, guards kill you, and merchants dont respond.

I like how that works personally. And have killed quite a few reds myself already. Fun game overall so far.

let me spell it out for you

joe asswipe walks up and starts smackin on you while your resting, and goes purple. you defend yourself, and go purple. joe asswipe's 4 buddies standing by gang bang you w/o taking a karma hit. you lose exp and items

im problly going to give this game a try will be on kain server with my old PK guild from Shadowbane guilds name is Painful convictions will most likely be a stealth class name will be Kaba.

Ive dropped 1 item out of the countless times Ive died, and #2 you dont have to defend yourself if you think for one second youre going to be gangraped, hell just turn red. And then be ultra gang raped by the whole server.

I like it so far, but ya the text annoys me, and targeting does suck. especially in groups where u could actually start attcking your group members. For beta, its not bad, but they need to iron out some more things.

or he'll kill mobs for a half hour and go un-red after beatin your ass if you did defend yourself, or if you didn't defend yourself

graphics dont make a game. this is way too much like UO. random ganking ALWAYS sucks no matter how you dress it up. anyone want to buy a level 20 dark wizard?

Game is pointless.. never can find any newbie MOBs to kill. I spent 45 minutes running around with a new Orc and found 2 mobs. 2 in 45 minutes.

I'm not going to spend hours just getting enough kills to move out of the newb grounds (which was infested with 14 year olds with l33t haxx0rz names PKing everyone and clapping happily for themselves).

So far, I'm very very underwelmed.

it's nothin like UO which is the prob, UO owned~
