I swear to god, I play for 5 minutes, it feels like EQ part 2, except shittier. I log on, think what should I do? then bam it hits me ! I type /quit and leave my computer desk. Is it possible I suffer such EQ burnout that no game will interest me again? I cannot play Morrowind, Starcraft, Diablo 1 or 2 or even my PS2 without wanting to shoot myself in the face after 5 minutes.
HELP !!! I am bored and cannot find a game that makes me filled with joy.
(I know this is sort of off WoW topic, but its the game I am trying to play atm)

Stop playing video games for a while. I feel the same way about WOW, but not about all other games.
Or try something completly different. Sims 2 is great fun. Evil Genius is alright.
If you want to get away from EQ, don't play WOW.

I'm in a video game burnout session right now...I havent played anything in hmmm...3-4 days about.
Nothing longer than 20-30 minutes anyways. I spend a lot of my time outside now, get some fresh air it's great. Go walking, pick up a book, jog, do something.

Its simple, i have a life, and i play... i can finally balance my life and playtime, and still enjoy hanging out with game friends...
I can play for hour (like i did tonight) or play for 4 hours, and i feel like i did something... I never could spend hour on eq and accomplish a thing.
If it was like eq, i simply wouldnt play... I've been burned out from looking after 3 kids, work, and trying to balance eq... it didnt work for me...
its not hard to figure out what to do, you just follow quest lines etc... but i'll say something.... playing any game wont get you over the burnout... only a break will.

I played Sim City 3000 at work yesterday because I have to teach a couple 7th & 8th graders how to use it Wednesday of next week for a school project. Other than that, I haven't played any video games in about a month aside from 5 minutes of Halo on my XBox to show my brother that he is nothing compared to me. NOTHING.

Sounds like you are in serious need of sunshine and exercise. Get a GPS and take up
Geocaching. Once you get past the cost of the GPS is el cheapo and you get to find places you never knew were around.

It sounds like the loot, level, geek time cycle is boring you right now. It took me a few years to be interested Paul, and I'm not sure I'll be able to play like I used to before, either.
You've done it before, so it holds no interest for ya right now. I can completely relate.

Switch to FPS for awhile.... When I get bored of MMOGS a little tribes or quake or unreal for a month or so and I'm ready to go back to EQ.
