You see... I had a lot of fun in WoW beta, but it got boring without a guild... and the low server population due to open beta made it even more boring.

EQ2 is not an option. I'm not dealing with SOE again.

Also... I tried to get away from the MMO scene. It was a lot of fun... brought back a lot of fond memories... but I'm not sure if this is what I need in my life.

Aaaalso, there is a slew of great games that I need to buy... Metroid Prime 2, Halo2, Half-life 2... If I'm playing a MMO, I don't know if I will have much time for these games.

You should play with the guild again. It will be a lot more fun with everyone starting at level 1. Go look at my post and see how many people are already joining.

It depends, Vonk. Do you enjoy FPSs? Do they hold your attention for long? If so, there's some very good ones out or nearly out. Another game that's very good and out right now is Rome: Total War if you enjoy the strategy, empire building kind of games... it rocks.

If you don't like those genres, there's always a new console game coming out.. .they don't have staying power, normally, but they're tradeable.

Me? I'm going to WoW. I love it. I have friends who are playing it. Whether I have a guild or not doesn't mean shit to me... as long as I have a group of people I enjoy playing with. Maybe that will change later, we'll see.

I'm staying away from MMO's, Halo 2 was fun and filled a lot of time, and so did GTA: SA, and now with Half-Life 2 being out I have absolutely no urge to pick up any of the latest MMO's. Plus from what I've seen WoW and EQ2 leave much to be decided and neither was much fun when I played them.

for some odd reason im planning on going back to ffxi.. WoW vry wuwu game but it felt like a single player game that was played by alot of people at the same time.. doubt that makes any sense ><

granted i only got into the mid 20's (well i got all the classes to 20, mostly).. just didnt seem like a "group activity" like trying to throw an orgy but your the only one there
