looks like there will not be a season this year. The owners just rejected the lastest proposal from the players' union. The owners still insisting on a salary cap which the players wont go for.

I care... but I'm willing to wait however long it takes to get a REAL salary cap introduced.

NFL

The NBA situation will reach boiling point next Summer. The NHL will teach them a hard lesson and it will work out.

I dont how long the nhl can hold out. Most of the U.S. doesnt care about hockey. If this thing last much longer, the nhl will be an afterthought here in the US.

Fine by me, that'll mean less people to compete with to get tickets, which are basically like gold here. And they cost as much as well.

I agree with that statement. Even if the league folds, a new one will be introduced with a salary cap most likely.

As the strike goes on, I wouldnt be suprise if all of the nhl players sign with european teams. The sharks goalie Nabokov signed with some russian team this week. That bastard better not get hurt while playing over there since he is the shark team right now.
