I found EQ2 at almost every store I went looking for WoW at... plenty of boxes left. No copies hardly anywhere of WoW. That pissed me off. Either WoW has a piss poor distribution chain & logistics head or it is selling much faster than EQ2.
I'll read the article when I get to work.

Hmm, every store here has a ton of boxes of both.
There's no wait for ordering either online... It's not like pressing CDs is that expensive or complicated.

You couldn't even buy copies online Lyion. Distribution was backed up. 3 days ago they finally started selling copies again from their online store. I don't know if it's because they sold more copies than anticipated or if the distribution was just slack.

A decent article, but the info isn't anything *new.* Nothing, at least, anyone who's played either game doesn't already know.
I did like this quote tho:
"Warcraft" ran flawlessly, even with some of the graphic options turned up high. "EverQuest" was unplayable at the highest settings, but offered many options to improve performance.
Funny how he turns up
some of the setting in WoW to high, and then cranks up EQ to it's
highest settings then tries to compare the two...
I'm still pissed about this weekends down time and thus far Sony has two strikes against them (as far as I am concerned)... one more and I stick to Xbox games for good.
