Yeah, there is no monthly fee to play it. That's what sold me and will have me most likely buying it at launch.

Same with Diablo 2 go figure.

i already pre-ordered did alot more exploring this time around... and they added alot of quests to the game. little running quests.. or beating some boss that is much higher than you (level when you get the quest). As in your lvl 3 or 4 and have to take out 3 lvl 7 mobs for one of the quests.


guilds will be annoying to form.. cause you need something like 200-300 gold to get one up and running, which i didn't get (i bought armor so thats less 400 gold heh) till around lvl 14.

the best way to play is with friends. Met some people during the Dec. Beta event, and been groupin with those 5 others since then. We can really get good items and upgrades, money etc... when you don't share them with other players (those that you don't kno) and henchmen.

You actually have to go thru explorable areas to get to some of the good skills for each class. Such as Gash with warriors ( target has its max health reduced by 20% for X (attribute modifier) amount of time ).

but i think its a game that .. either you love it or hate it.

Was a nice betaweekend..Spent most of the time getting killed or soloing in neardeath encounters ).

Fun was that when i trained to guards and they killed my train...sometimes not many guards survidved I could still loot the stuff the mobs dropped...

Very nice and smoot grahics running well even on my kids older pc's. Models and animations were definately better than what i had seen before.

Liked how i left footprints in the sandy areas and also how i could see the dust from when i was running.

I didnt do much interaction as i didnt have the time to figure out what to do to that or how to go /lfg :P

I will buy the final product im sure.

The maintainenece...tennance...maint-nance costs will be factored into the expansions they decide to release every 2-3 months or whatever. I believe if you go the expansion route it figures out to about $5 per month. Which might as well be free, contrasted to $15 a month + expansions, oh yes, and your wasted life.

Feb Beta Weekend has been pushed back to the 18th... due to adding a new region to what is playable by us BWEs.

Something about Ascalon about it being destroyed or something of that sort. Who knows for sure
