Moss to be traded soon...

Rumors are that Vikings WR Randy Moss is going to be traded soon. The Vikings want a 1st-rounder and a ''high impact defensive player''. Oakland seems to be the front runner, offering their first round pick and Phillip Buchanon.

There were rumors a year or two back that he would go to Miami, but the deal never fell through. Earlier this year, the Vikings wanted Sam Madison/Patrick Surtain and the Phins first rounder for him, but those rumors died a week or two back.

The Vikes are also shopping RBs Michael Bennet and Onterrio Smith around. Bennet has been hurt a lot the past few years, and Onterrio has been suspeneded for drug abuse. They want to mold Mewelde Moore into their starting RB. The Vikes are looking for a 2nd to 3rd rounder for either of them.

:dunno:

Here is an article I found about it from ESPN.com

Don't see how the Ravens would be a top team to get him...seems as though the Vikings want a cornerback, and the Ravens won't give up Chris MaCallister.

I read Mccombs won't trade him until he sells the team.

I heard talks of Ray Lewis and 1st or second round pick for moss, I think it would be a bad trade for the ravens IMO ( though I am very biased ) I don't think the ravens yet are close to needing a reciever like moss - Yes they do need a good reciever - but honestly they need a possesion reciver that can run routes and do their jobs

There is no way the Ravens would trade Lewis. Especially not for a malcontent WR.

Moss is an incredible talent, but most of Baltimore's problems are with their system and QB production. Give Boller another year and one more good wideout, and he could turn into a franchise QB
