since there's not a topic about it yet

my prediction : pats will stomp the eagles and take home yet another SB win.

mcnabb is good, but i don't think he can handle the pats.

I want the Eagles to win, but my gut says the Pats will roll.

Pats will win, but it won't be a blow-out.

Patriots will win by (as Berman says in ESPN 2Y5) "A Bunch to 3..."

The Eagles are out of their league in trying to defeat an AFC team in the Super Bowl. Regardless if it had been the Steelers, Patriots or the Colts - the illgels would still get crushed. The NFC is weak right now, and I would bet money - and lots of it - that if the Beagles were in the AFC they would not have gone 13 and 3 during the season. More like 10 and 6 IF that.

BB is a master mind and develops game plans for each and every team he faces. He took the number one offense in the league and held them to 3 lousy points. THREE! He turned around and scored 41 (yes I said FOURTY ONE) points against the number one defense in the league as well.

It took the Beagles FOUR tries to finally win a title and that was in the much weaker NFC. They have no real experience in the "big one." Where the Pats have 2 years worth.

Yes, the Beagles have a couple of super stars they can play - but the Pats have an entire team. If they try to pressure Brady - you'll see Dillon and Faulk destroying the ground for gains and points. If they don't pressure him - you'll see Givens and Brown chewing up the secondary like a cheap piece of gum.

The illgles have gotten big heads now... they finally made it... but they've got to get past what's arguably the best NFL team in recent memory... in a game they have owned 2 out of the past 3.

This isn't going to be close at all - in fact it'll be over by half time.

This is also probably the strongest Pats team of their three SB appearances.

The Eagles are going to get killed, plain and simple.

L-O-S-E-R-S EAGLES!

Yes this is easily their strongest team out of the three SB's.

I am actually impressed, I am so used to my teams sucking balls...

Now if only the celtics would pick up the slack. And I predict the red sox sucking balls next season.

I figure any team that's reduced to sticking a WR/kickreturner in at DB, and makes the playoffs deserves to win

I don't like the Pats at all (actually a Steelers and Bears fan) but just for Troy Brown I think they deserve to win

Yeah, its rough when a team with a top 3 QB, gets handed one of the top 3 Running Backs of the last 5 years.

Corey Dillon is a big reason why the Pats are where they are. A hearty fuck you to the Bengals for giving a good offense a Pro Bowl RB.

I really dont care who win this game since the team I root for, the Steelers, got their fucking asses kicked hard last week. Thanks Ben. I just want to see Bruschi knock the living shit out of Owens if he plays.

Actually, no other teams offered a second round draft picks like the Patriots did due to Dillon's suppose "trouble maker" label. Since he joined New England, he is the model citizen. I guess being on a winning team kinda mellow you out a bit.

pats win, eagles suck.
no buffalo or snow so who really cares ?
I was told tonight the superbowl and any major sporting event is to distract us from the current issues of life, so we stop thinking of the misfortune & injustices in our pathetic life.
:umno:

Actually, the defense and the running game won the games for the steelers. The three interceptions in the Patriots game cost them that game. The mistakes he made in the Jets game almost cost them that game also. But luckily for the Steelers, the Jets offense sucked as do their place kicker.
