alright, i'm a 17 gnome rogue and i started a few days ago. before that i haven't read one single thing on wow pretty much.

#1. i read here that rogues bandage and stuff when they solo. how do you do that? where do you start and what do you need? i've never seen anyone bandage yet i dont think

#2. i find at 17 quest exp sucks. i'm in redridge mnts at the moment, and getting like 800-1k a quest. are there better quests around some place else? or do i have to just suck it up and live with it?

#3. talents. i guess rogues are either sinister strike, or backstab. which is more effective? i plan on pvping later on, don't like pve that much

#4. do i need to train in swords at all, or just stick with daggers - swords generally seem to have higher dps than daggers.

First aid, you train it and use linen cloth/wool/silk etc. to make bandages.

where do you train in it at though? its not at my rogue trainer or at my herbalist guy =\

Talk to most guards in any city and ask about First Aid trainers.

Iirc I did 15-22 mostly in the redridge area. They later quest's in that area garner much better xp and items. If you just started a few days ago then likley you have yet to start any of the Elite quests in Redridge. Thats where the xp and sometimes items come rolling in.

As for the rogue specific questions I'll let the rogues handle that dept.
