I know there have been some doubters that horde had what it takes to take on the bad boys of MC.. especially without the vaule that is dwarven priest abilities. Rest assured, with right strat and the available talent, it can be done

I would imagin they've been working on him, but i'd also figure the endgame progression is Ragnaros > Onyxia > Molten core Mini bosses..

I figure rag to be a good tier or half tier above onyxia in terms of difficulty

How often can MC be raided? Isn't there a certain time-period lockout? The last update has them there on 2-12.

Out of curiosity, how are the hardcore ex-LoSers doing? Talon's website hasn't been updated in a while. Any current posters there?

LoS basically went all different directions. Some went to Hyjul, alliance, others went to same server horde, Tenaj's guild is on proudmoore, etc etc. All guilds are at various points in the endgame, but all are havin fun it looks like and doin well. Could'nt tell you what they're all up to tho since i dont talk to them anymore.

basically we are all working on onxyia keys and getting geared up in Talon we would be at the stage of clearing out MC by now if everyone didnt split off to diffrent server's.

I think the highest concentration is in talon (they are not casual but more hardcore)...

we are gearing up our members, and they are leveling up, tho our guild is casual not hardcore, just alot of impromptu raids atm.

tilric and lieks guild (evil empire) are preparing for molten core too, raiding areas much same as rest of us doing strat bs etc , gearing members up.

Ven and I went off to join Team Ice aka Triton from Povar in EQ. We're on a pvp server and playing horde so almost a double whammy of fun. Everyone in the guild is keyed for Onxyia (minus some new recruits from this week) and we went after her last week for the first time. Our 2nd attempt was 59% so not too bad and we're crossing our fingers that she'll drop this weekend. Molten Core we were locked out for almost 2 1/2 weeks but we downed Lucifron this week with only 33 ppl. So far so good but we are needing some key classes to help make this easier. Having only 1 hunter and oh 2 druids (1 of which is a bot) makes things a pain in the arse..not to mention no Palys!

thats about where we are, gearing up members and slowly recruiting getting ready for onyxia and molten core. By the time we're done with MC and Onyxia hopfully the new content patch will have gone live ...

or do you need to beat onyxia to get into MC?

From what I've read, most of MC is easier than Onyxia, but the final boss of MC is probably harder than Onyxia. Only 2 guilds (I think) have killed Onyxia, but a number of guilds have killed random mini-bosses of MC.

Runed, sunder, and FoH have all downed onyxia. Most of hte bosses in MC are easier then onyxia, but i've heard the last two bosses are harder.

so onyxia is like naggy in solB, and molten core is guk, gotcha~

The difference is that you don't have to clear days worth of content to get to Onyxia whereas to get to Ragnaros you need to clear almost the whole zone including a bunch of bosses. Even trash mobs are like killing bosses.

so, MC is more like Vex Thall


any gating AE Blind casting mobs to add to the enjoyment?

Will say that Magmadar is giving us a good run and he's only the 2nd mob we've hit since downing Lucifron. We had better progress against Onxyia then Mag. Part of Mag is easy for alliance cause of fear ward. *sighs*
