Stopped connecting last night and I still can't get it to connect today. Anyone else having that problem?

I even redownloaded it and reinstalled it...no dice.

Switch to gAIM. It doesnt eat your system resources, works with even more protocols, and is open source.

Much, much, much better piece of code than Trillian.

Mine is up and running right now just fine. What services are you connecting it too? I'm only using MSN through it. I stopped using ICQ and AIM ages ago. :/

Hrm weird. So you reinstalled version 3.x right? Before you installed it you uninstalled your old version right?

Also are you using a firewall at all? (I'm behind one here at work and mine is still working but it doesn't filter outgoing).

Yeah, reinstalled 3.x whatever it is. Uninstalled first. They had a patch yesterday? for AIM and ICQ and I'm wondering if that messed it up, since if quit working after I rebooted the computer for the first time (I think) since they patched last night.


Trying out the gAIM for now....amazingly I remembered all my passwords.

Did you check the boards to see if anyone else is having the same issue? I'll look for the patch and see if it hoses mine.

My version isn't reporting a new version out there so I don't think there was a patch, I've had 3.1 for a while. I scanned the forums and looks like there are several people having problems with 3.1 and connecting but so far no common idea as to why.

I checked...no one reporting anything that I saw.
