Old Nameless players - Lightening Blade

I saw that a lot of nameless players were on whisperwind. I didnt chose whipserwind because its PVE. it seems that people are going to be given the option to transfer servers but only to anoher pve server...

if you feel like picking a PVP server (new char) instead of going to another server (and growing some hair on your chest) come over to lightening blade!! i have a fun guild on that server, we are currently only recruiting 50+ but would make an aception to any old time nameless people!

my characters name is aeomac (shaman) in GraveDiggers.

any old Paragons of Fury are more than welcome!!!

Your guildname disturbs me.

Did you mean to name it Lightning Blade? Or are you going for everyone carrying around torches?

That said, how's the action on the PVP servers? Is it good fights or gank wars?

On Bleeding Hollow Pvp is quite fun.

Obviously if you go near Hillsbrad, Stranglethorn or Booty Bay you're in for a trip. It's basically Emain in Daoc 24/7. I finally gave up with those quests and dropped 8 of them last night. :/ 4 levels there was enough.

The other contested zones are not too bad. Occassionally you'll run into a group that ganks you but very rarely do they kill you twice in a row or corpse camp. Typically a /wave and people will leave each other alone especially if it's obvious you're just questing.

I tried to level on Frostwolfe last month, but it was akin to racing in the Daytona 500 with a Kia.

I like the concept, but taking a WOW break for a while, and I'll check back when their PVP is a bit more fleshed out and the Realm Ranks are implemented. :cool6:

woah hey aeo :) nice to see you around! I'm over on PVP Illidan and despite our server being shit and able to move we are staying put since DIE needs some competition or well maybe it's they need to kill someone daily and we are good punching bags.

Anyhow, :) send me an email or message or something. You won't believe who I talked to the other day ---- Bhezoul ..he was telling me the Malison, Zarina latest.

yes spelling was never my fortay :) Savannah!!! such a blast from the past. sending you an email!!!!

Lyion i remeber you from pre-old school days the first set of hate gear on a priest i ever saw :) to answer your question the pvp is acutally quite nice on our server. We are low population and have a balance of about 3:1 alliance/horde. Aside from the steath rogue cheat ganks alliance are actually pretty good. Its definately war, but the gank factor is medium to low.

Yeah, but is it possible to level decently? On Frostwolfe it wasn't, and I tred 3 low level areas.

I remember you from loooong ago, Aeo. Old School, man. :)

lightning blade is a low-pop server so you have less assholes by volume

i never got ganked much except in the high traffic areas, stranglethorn, hilsbrad, etc. but there's a lot more bored high lvls now than when i leveled there

Ya, which is why I'm probably going to let my WOW account lapse until they implement new stuff. I'm bored on the PVE server and levelling is tedious and ganktastic on the PVP ones.

levels 38-45 were quite difficult to level. The strangelthorn vale and hillsbrad areas can get quite rediculous. I found that i could safely solo just about anywhere without bieng bothered. the population is not really high enough yet for things to be that crazy.

I think blizzard needs to fix some fundamental pvp aspects in this game before they start losing some quality gamers. It requires zero skill to stealth sap /gank someone. Rogues are overpowered in this arena.
Reminds me of EQ ;)

not even close

the stun lock that rogues can do is quite gay

equally gay is the root moonfire, root moonfire routine
