lvling really that easy?

Well currently i am playing DAoC, they give you a free lvl every few days now. As long as you lvl through one, you get another freebie a few days later. The Master Level system has been made easier to get done as well, you can now do ANY ML step in the lvl your on, in any order. Do ML5.10 done and you can go back and do ML5.7 and so on.
Mythic seems to be feeding people in order to get them to stick with DAoC, though they might lose some with warlock nerf (new Catacombs expansion class.) Nerfs for the other Cata classes will come soon after.
WoW has PVP and will soon impliment rewards, the only other game i have been looking at is Dark and Light. DnL is taking a long time to get their product goin. NPCube, the company behind DnL has pushed it up to around this Christmas for release. EQ2 has no PVP at all and as i just tried its Trial of the isle and made a few toons, i have a strong urge to get away from the crappy AI mobs.
Over all i think WoW will be the game i go with, probably in the next few weeks or so, ralf i will see you soon online.

Crappy AI?
If that is your sole reason for not liking EQ2, you weren't paying close enough attention.
Yes to your original question, leveling IS that easy.
If you put in a moderate amount of time you will be in the mid 30's in 2-3 weeks. (I mean maybe 1-2 hours a day)

Thats the nice thing about All Access. I get plenty of PvP in Planetside, and in SWG, and can do the Fantasy thing in EQ2.
PVP in static long term levelling MMOs is the most overrated thing out there. In a caste system type game, any PVP will be very biased toward the people with more time. DAOC came close to equalizing it, but screwed up with Buffbots, realm balance, and idiotic implementations.
Give me BF1942 or Planetside for real PVP, thanks.

Exactly how much copper does SoE deposit into your account to be like the #1 advocate of all access? Like really the majority of people in this forum are already past the Fuck SoE point and are really unlikely to return to it especially only to pay more then they did when they left.

Hmm, unlike most people around here I left EQ in 2001. I just came back recently. The main reason I'm advocating All Access is so I'll have more people to play games with. I'm cool with anyone who dislikes SOE, but my motives are for myself solely. I'm having fun and all these games are more fun with friends.
Tik, I'm only playing a few hours a day, and generally play a different game on the nights I do play.

Here is a list of some of the people who will never go back and play a SOE game.
Donnel - Human Cleric
Lyion - Barbarian Berserker
Darcler - Wood Elf Bard
Gidan - Halfling Paladin
Deeliah - Barbarian Beastlord
Xavier - Half Elf Ranger
Taxx - High Elf Enchanter
Anyway, All access is the best deal out there right now. Lyion has good reason to talk it up.
I have EQ, EQ2, PS, and SWG all available for 22$.
And on one of his post recommendations I went out and got JTL, which is a hell of a good game. WIth the combat revamp SWG should be the game it always was supposed to be.

I'm still torn
the extra downtime garbage today pushes me closer and closer to the all access pass, but I'm still not sure, wuwu
It's not so much that 22 > 13, it's the fact that I'm 2-3 expansions behind on all the SoE games that would suck. can't see that i'd shell out the cash for them

WOW has been good in providing great competition for EQ.
It's more a matter of personal choice. WOW is a great game, and what a lot of people are looking for.
I'm enjoying All Access. If WOW makes strides and the PVP seems really appealing, I'll try it again.
Heck, if you are patient you could play both. I have All Access and WOW accounts right now, at least until the end of April. I just wasn't enjoying WOW, moreso because I didnt have a group and the levelling wasn't much fun for me.
I don't care, I just want to hang out and game when the mood hits in a fun way.

personally I enjoy WoW more for the fact its something new, EQ to me is just expansion after expansion of the same ol shit over and over.. with the odd new way of displaing it.
I doubt I'll ever go back to EQ.
As for WoW, they realy need to work on their server stability.. I KNOW they are having issues due to the sheer number of accounts ect but they need to get their act in gear soon. its gettign tiresome

Tempted to farm accounts and sell them off for $$$

Well, Nayana. I quit EQ in 2001. I played WOW in beta for 6+ months. For me EQ is actually fresher for now. I havent done anything past Velious.
I'm sure some with 5+ years in EQ are done. Others are not.
It's not like any of us have stock in a company. The mroe choices and competition, the better it is for us.

Well Myself I started EQ in 1999, and played it right on through till mid 2004 ( with the exception of about 8 months when i tried to quit). I also never got in on the WoW beta, so i have played EQ for a longer period of time and had less time in WoW than yousef. :p
Its good that EQ now has some serious competition that its forced to imporve, but for me its too little too late. As for WoW, I dont know if i will stick with WoW forever either... Id likely move on to another mmorpg in due time. Right now WoW kind of sucks since my server ( Blackhand) has been down for 24+ hours
