So I transferred with my resturaunt, so I could finish up nursing school. So I get to the store on Friday and the manager said he didn't know anything about my transfer, got the name and number of the old boss, and said he would make the phone call to get the info, call me back and let me know whats up.

When I applied at the restuaraunt 5 years ago in Ohio when they first opened, I was told I didn't have the right look. Now he isnt calling me back. Im thinking saying screw it and find another waitressing job. We went there to eat on Saturday and all the servers were pencil thin college students that could lead double lives as super models.

That's kinda discrimating I think, I'd say something.

My sister in law works for Outback Steakhouse as a waitress and yea, they pretty much only employ the younger 20's college girls who are skinny and good looking which fits my sister to a tee. Kinda like Hooters only they can't come right out and say it when they deny or hire. Lots of places are like that unfortunately. I work for Target and I've noticed most of the girls I work with are ranging kinda wholesome, plain jane looking (like me) to super hot. I can't think of one person I work with who is hideous like my old jobs.

I don't know about you, but I'd prefer my waitress or waiter not be a hideous beast of a human.
