Safeway

Alright, so, we were out of cake and dishwashing soap. So on my way home from work, I stopped at Safeway to pick up these necessities plus whatever impulse purchases caught my eye. I was thinking that until you purchase the groceries, they're not really yours, they still belong to the store.
So my question is: what would happen if you walked up to someone else's cart and just took shit out of there for yourself? It's not really their's yet, so it's not technically stealing. It would be a real cuntflap move, definetly... but is it against any rules? Do grocery stores have some sort of PNP to prevent this?

That's how Larry David thinks on a daily basis, and while I'm sure there aren't any real consequences to doing something like this, the only one I can think of would be people looking at you slash thinking of you as if you had no common sense.

when i was workin at target a few years ago, two fat...and i mean fucking FAT heffers got into a fist fight cause one took the last 6 pack multi-flavored canned dog food pack out of the others cart and put it into her own like nothin happened.
the store didnt have any special policy to deal with such issues, but the video was quite funny.

Hey, wondering if something is possible is way different than actually doing it. I don't think I ever would, I'm too much of a pussy.
That doesn't mean that just to see it done once I wouldn't be in the background instigating one of my friends.

If someone took something out of my cart, I don't know what I'd do.
But Pie > Cake. Unless it's ice cream cake.

I am not getting into a pie vs. cake debate in here other than to say that generally pie is > cake.
But today I wanted cake, so I got one of the Safeway cakes that's just like one serving of cakey goodness.

brownies are > both
I was actually thinking something along the same lines the other day while we were at target Vieve.. I couldn't find that flavored yummy water but someone else had it.. then like, about carts. if a cart is empty, and someone walks down the aisle to get something, I think the cart is fair game

I dunno if there's a real policy, but I kinda think there's an unwritten rule that if it's in my cart, i'm clearly intending to purchase it, and as long as I intend to purchase it, it might as well be considered mine
unlesss of course, i somehow manage to drop it, and break it
in that case, it still belongs to the store, and I reserve the right to leave the broken ass one on the floor, and go grab a new one

That happened at a grocery store I worked at once. It was the last of something tht was on special, and two ladies were arguing over who got it first. It was like a scene from a movie. The one grabbed it, and started running away and the other lady started chasing her, it was too funny.

The only thing more fun that watching fat bitches run is watching them fall down.... They always get really fucked up in the process and its highly entertaining to say the least.
