Cut and Pasted from our server boards. This was a little thing that me, my girlfriend, and a close friend of mine did tonight in WoW:

-----------------------------

Well, since there doesn't seem to be a lot of GM run events in WoW, we in guild Woe put our heads together to think of something that would "spice" things up a bit. Since a player can't manipulate the game to create a particular creature in a particular location, we decided we'd have to bring the party with us.

So, we headed down to Un'goro. You know... the crater west of Tanaris. If you look on the map, it's denoted by:

"HERE BE MONSTERS!"

Well... we found one!

We took this little fella on a long run. Final stop: The Barrens.

After about an hour or so, we pull into Crossroads. We had developed quite a following at this point. Our lil buddy was a little anxious about the welcome he should expect - but our Horde friends proved to be very hospitable.

Unfortunately, though, our friend couldn't handle all of the excitement. He decided to lay around and put his feet up for a while.

We'll be putting up a video as soon as we get done editing it.

We hope some of you were able to participate in this little event sponsored by our guild... and if you did, we trust that you enjoyed it!

Special recognition goes to Gutrot <The Hammer> for his assistance along our journey.

Guild Woe: Bringing people closer to nature, one devilsaur at a time!

That's great, must have been a hell of a time getting him all the way to X-roads lol.

Shoul bring king mosh to the AH~ That'd be sweet.

The problem with bringing it anywhere near Org, though, is that it would die very quickly. Not only from the guards, but from all the higher levels wandering the area. We brought him to Tanaris first, but he went down very quickly from everyone in Gadgetzan.

He very nearly died on the way to the xroads from a couple of level 60 people who thought they would "save the day" by killing the big mean dinosaur.

How the hell did you manage to get him all the way there?

Aren't the mobs tethered?

They probably took him a small distance, then hit him a little to redo aggro, then took him a little further, etc. I would think that would keep him chasing you.

+1 for song reference btw Ugz.

Things like this make me miss playing WoW lol.

Average MOBs don't appear to be tethered at all... they cross zone boundaries, most can even swim.

We had to keep him agroed the entire time... over an hour.

We've discussed King Mosh... he was up - but there's certain things about him that would make him much more difficult to pull this off with. Even a Tyrant or a just plain regular Devilsaur is much more problematic. The Ironhide is perfect for this - no special abilities... just fat hitpoints and AC.

We're discussing what's next... maybe it will be King Mosh to Astranaar. :)

I considered logging into WoW a great quest which I could repeat almost every night.

Mosh to Org would be awsome, yes the normal devilsaur's to org could pose a problem. But mosh is pretty hard and has a lot of hps. I bet he'd last a while, just get swiftness potions, the swift boots, a rogue with sprint and prep, and cripple poisons. I am not sure if Mosh is immune to movement impairing effects or not.

Btw i just got my heartseeker woot~

What about that Gorilla King on that island to Booty Bay?

Jaz - that's not how we do it.

Adam - think bigger. We're considering different things... but I suspect our next pull will be around a 60 elite.

What about those chimeraes in Feralas(they are found in the middle portion of the southern island and drag them to the Alliance town?

They are 61-62 elites.

You could also try to get that roaming dragon in the Blasted Lands to the Alliance town nearby.

Not sure which chimerae you're speaking of. Maybe you're thinking of the hydrae on the island off the coast of Dustwallow?

Problem with Blasted Lands is you have to get through Black Rock mountain. We're not sure if the mobs will follow us through there... it's something we're going to have to check.

No, there are a bunch of 60-62 elites on the backside of the southern island in Feralas. I was like wtf when I found them and then I died.

Teremus the Devourer is the mob I am thinking of in Blasted Lands I think.

Uh, blasted lands are nowhere near Blackrock Mountain... They're off Swamp of No Hope, next to Deadwinds Pass, which is itself connected to Duskwood. I suppose you could try and get Teremus to Darkshire, the town in Duskwood, or maybe continue on a bit further and bring it to Stormwind.

I think you got mixed up with Burning Steppes...
