hehe my roommate matt works at papa john's and he was just bitching the other day about the internet orders.
HOW HARD IS IT TO PICK UP YOUR PHONE AND ORDER A PIZZA???
besides which, my town is so small that the longest it could take to go to papa john's is about ten minutes.
people are getting so LAZY, for chrissakes.

I liked internet ordering because I don't have to sit and listen to all the stupid prerecorded ads before talking to a live person and you have the menu with prices right there in front of you.
This area doesn't offer internet orders tho.

I like it too, because I'm generally indecisive and don't want the person on the other end having to deal with me asking everything on their menu, etc.. plus if it's pizza, I almost always order it half and half, and 70% of the time it still comes screwed up because the person placing the order doesn't get what you're saying.. so if you order it online there's no mistake about what you want

I used to work in a pizza place, I probaly stole 2000 in cash in a summer, but that is no comparison for the guy that [put moldy cheese and peperoni on pizza, or the other guy that put shrooms on little old ladies pizza.
And we had a guy that was a russian doctor that was the doughmaker, hey that worked out well for him, coming to america and all.

Most pizza places will not deliver to you if you have a cell phone only, well at least in Omaha.

I *only* have a cell phone. I have no need for a land line - I'd just end up paying such and such per month to get telemarketing calls. Everyone who knows me calls me on my cell.
I STOPPED ordering via phone because I got sick of having to listen to adds - only then to get put on hold for 5 minutes - to then having to explain to the moron on the other end what I wanted THREE times because she can't hear what I'm saying due to the noise of the workers behind her, or she can't comprehend what I mean when I say *thin crust with this and that* and ends up repeating my order as *pan* with half the items I asked for to begin with.
I click on the pizza I want - and boom I'm done. No hassle, no problems, no waiting, no bullshit.

i guess i don't really know what i'm whining about... i never eat pizza, and on the rare occasions that i do, i have this ordering service called "text message to roommate for free pizza when he gets off"

K.. now this thread has merit.
I was expecting "GET ON AIM YOU ASSHOLE I'M PREGGERS AND IT'S YOUR BABY!!!!11" or something drama-like, but nooooooo..
Now it's about pizza, which I am now devouring cold, npnp.

it's not a matter of afford but more of need. We didn't need a land line for a long time so we didn't have one. We just used our cell phones and the reception at the house wasn't the greatest.
