Wine Making

Picking up my Wine Making Kit today... going to start working with concentrates rather than fresh grapes - till I get the process down - then I'll move to grapes...
Anyone here make their own wine?

Have made my own beer before, I will stick to the bars. Never tried my own wine, though I beleive some of family on my fathers side still own a vinyard in Italy. Would love to try it some time though.

haha kizzy as in the drug?
You don't need those kits to make wine.. you just need some grapes and a quart of antifreeze.

I used to make booze out of apple juice and brewers yeast. Thats sort of similar I guess. :P

It wasnt that hard, wasnt very strong stuff though, we opened a jug of distilled water and poured about 1/4 of it out. We then shoved in Rye bread and sealed the cap back on with superglue. Wrapped it in towels and put it in the back of a closet for a month. It got all nice and moldy. Then we drill a hole in the top, and feed a tube in. THen you heat the jug and the steam escapes through the tube, which is then passed into a little glass jar. It condenses into liquid, and Viola!! Go go my little brothers chemistry set!!!
