Hair Question for the girls ><

I feel the need to change how I look, I'm bored and need something different. The easiest way to do this of course is to change my hair, however I'm not sure of much I can do with it. I have medium/long dark brown hair, it is thick and curly, and has the tendancy to get frizzy if it does not get enough attention. This limits what I can do with it :( Anyone have any suggestions for a new cut for someone with full curly hair? I think I want to go shorter and will most likely redo my red highlights.... but have no clue wtf to do.

do you want longer or shorter hair?

Stacy has the same type of hair you're describing and she had a great short cut for a while that was easy to keep strait and rarely looked frizzy.

I can find you a pic if you want.

If I could find a short cut that would work, I would LOVE to be able to do it. I envy girls who can have short hair, it looks so easy compared to long hair as far as morning time goes.

Yeah I am at school right now, but I think I need to find some batteries and get out the dig camera when I get home.

PS... I am having a bad hair and looks day so I don't wanna.. :( Gotta suck it up though.

omg I wish I could do my hair like that, I think that hair cut is very sexy. I wonder if I could manage that with my hair.... would I have to chemically straighten it to thin it out a bit?

She wasn't using much of a straitener if I remeber right, occasionaly she would use an anti frizz thing on wet days. it was short enough that it didn't curl out.. it looked good but it had to be cut like every 2 months, the back would grow out and start to curl out.

Seriously it would take her like 10 min to get her hair ready now it takes like 7 hours, I wake her up at 1 am now so we can leave for work by 8 am

hah, sounds like me. If I could find a way to make this hair cut work I would love it, I am a bit scared because I had a hair dresser fuck up badly when cutting my hair short before though :(

I love my red highlights when I have them, they make me feel very wuwu~ So I know I will at least be redoing them.

Anyone I know with short hair has thin straight hair, so I can't really emulate them :(

True :) I work with a woman that has the hottest short haircut, much like Stacy's but with blond highlights. I was so thrilled when she said she also worked at a hair salon, but then she told me she only did nails there not hair. I think I almost cried.

I think that hair cut in Stac's pics is really sexy looking, I wonder if I can pull it off with my face shape. Will post some pics later for opinion of if I can do it or not.

Off to next class.

Red highlights like the girl in the picture above are not flattering in my opinion.

Around here we call that "cockaroacha red".

If I could take a pic of my hair now when it is done, I'll post it maybe. I have very dark brown hair but also has some hint of red in it and looks kinda pretty and shiny healthy in the sunlight.. I got tired of my hair also recently so I went out and got a new haircut. It's nothing big, just about 2 inches shorter and long layers. It used to be parted down the middle, and I used to give myself bangs but the hairdresser said I needed a "25 yr old's haircut and not a 13 yr olds" So I went with it and its now parted on my right with the bangs swept to the left. So try playing with a different part, get it trimmed, etc.. and don't worry about the color so much righ tnow.

Here's some items I have to help keep my hair top notch. It only takes about 10 -15 mins for me..

ALso a blowdryer and if you wish, a big barrel curling iron or ceramic flat iron.
