How many Honor Points you got?

I didn't have a lot of time to play, but i got home at 3, dl'd patch at roughly 4. And the world defense channels were going off the HOOK. Every place was getting raided hardcore. Alliance was on the offense but we kept them back. It was incredible. There were so many 40 man raids formed. I refused to be a part of them, though. Soloed most of my honor kills, with the exception of a couple guildie group kills. 40man raids are kinda dumb, gain kills really quick and you don't even have to do anything. I'm up to 220, 30 or so are group kills.

The rogue updates wern't what i thought they'd be. I heard they got nerfed before the patch, being that on test they were too powerful (backstab, ambush amplifiers and such), but i like how if you lose your target you still have your combo points. Helps with hunters who fd or dizzy shot, and priest/warlocks fear and such.

I think the gurubashi arena thing is a bunch of bullshit. Pallies are going to run in, shield and grab the chest, the exact same way they do rich thorium veins. Every patch i wait for the *fix* to pallies but it never comes :(.

Oh and the lag was leet skeets, i supose i should have expected it with such drastic updates, and it being a patch period. But 2k latency solid is pretty funny.

My guild did scholo, i was pvp'ing and didn't want to check out the new drops in scholo or strath, I didn't ask or check out any of the drops or anything, but i'm sure there are some pretty nice ones.

Anyone else have any stuff to share on the new patch?

Btw Die FS spamming shammies, Diminishing returns, woots-ha~

53. And no, rogues did not get the 1100 backstab crits I thought we were getting. When I opened up with a 700 backstab crit, I cried a little.

AE'ing an army of horde with a poison trinket, vanishing, standing far away to watch the battle and and racking up honor points without doing a thing...

...priceless

What are these points for? Is there a reward system implemented yet?

If you couldn't tell, I tend to spend a lot of my time out in the middle of nowhere in WoW.

I think we have to wait for battlegrounds merchants.

I just want my 43 dps 2.9 speed dagger so I can backstab for 1k+.

Highest crit on a BS I've gotten so far was I believe 900 something...

Highest crit on an eviscerate was 1185...

Only one night, I expect better when I'm higher. (Only 48 right now)

People don't understand that "honorable kills" don't really equate to contribution. Someone with 10 HK's could end up with more contribution than someone with 100.

I call BS, level 48 rogues don't crit backstab for 900.

Hah

If it wasn't 900+ it was surely close.

New crit eviscerate today was 1198. I don't usually see my Backstabs in the spam, didn't notice anything new.

k

Taxx, do you want to voice your opinion on the possibility that a level 48 rogue can backstab crit for 900+?

turn that 9 upside down and MAYBE you'll be in the right area at level 48.

600 is the average, I've landed a few 700's already since that last post.

I'll screenshot the next one if I play any more tonight. (I'm going for a jog and I might be up for it when I get back. It's fucking beautiful out.)

Ok they must have been ambushes, I've landed several 700+ ambushes already, my backstabs aren't cooperating in the quick little test I ran.

at 48 ive done 800 dmg backstabs and 1800 dmg evis on level 60s, its not hard, gear+ talents = good damage. Taxx can vouch for my damage more than likely as He and I were side by side at TM quite a bit

I don't really understand how you can do that much at 48 Stabfase. I mean, maybe the backstab part with lethality 5 and ambush spec. But 1800 evis? No offense but i'm finding that a little impossible, being that the max damage for level 48 evis is 748 or something...That's a few hundred away from trippling the evis damage on one crit /shrug. And the backstabs while they must be 800 backstabs on rats, or really light cloth, I can see it. At 60 with lethality and ambush spec I ambush rats and stuff for 1600, backstab for 1200 or 1300ish. 60's is around 1200-1300 ambush's and 1.1 k backstabs or so on cloth/leather. Evis crit's for 1700-2k.

Edit: Now my gear isn't great, but it's fairly good for level 60, mostly crit gear and +% chance to hit. But you can't even start using Shadowcraft until level 53ish, and before then the gear, even rares, aren't going to add enough agility to be able to do that much damage, Or attack power...

I'd have to see what weapon he is using and what his spec is. It's HIGHLY unlikely that he's getting 900pt backstabs with any regularity. I'd guess more in the 500-600 range. Evis he could probably do 1700.

I switched to 30/8/13 recently and use http://www.thottbot.com/?i=36280. Have gotten 1300+HP backstabs on crits and 2200+ evis.

That's a nice weapon Taxx. I'm using a Heartseeker in main hand and a Frighttalon in offhand. I was dumb not to put a +5 dmg on the heartseeker for ambush and backstab, instead i put Lifestealing. Which costed me a lot of money, so i'm not going to change. I'll just go and get a Barman shanker from BRD and +5 it or something. It has high max dmg.

I was there when Taxx got the dagger. I couldn't bid on it or I would have to cockblock him.
