Everquest Lag outs

Ever since the last patch (though often enough before it too), one of my computers keeps 'lagging out' a couple of minutes after you log the character in.
Meaning, you cast a spell and it doesnt show anything and nothing happens (and the spell bar is faded out and wont come back). You can't open doors. You can still move the character around, but looking at him from another screen he is not actually moving. You are effectively LD except you still show up in the zone.
I 2-box, and my better computer has never had this problem at all, so I don't think it's my internet connection.
EQ chat support is down and their crappy search database has nothing about this. >:o
Has anyone had this problem and knows how to fix it?
