Alright. I really want everyone's opinion on what's up in my apartment. We've been here a while. I've cleaned the bathroom mirror a few times since moving in, windex/papertowel style. I know Scott did as well.
I get out of the shower yesterday morning, and my eyes move straight to the top of the mirror in my bathroom and just from the top it's steamed up, and written onto the mirror reads, "I am the self of all."
It's right above a passage that came off of a candle Scott bought me that I taped onto the mirror (beside

my I'd hit it <3 fefn pic) It's written in cursive, and it's perfect, no drips, not a smudge around any of the letters and it's almost demonic looking. The "f"s had a bit of a tail coming off the ends, of both...and we've never seen it before.
do we have a spirit and do I have to bless my house and drip blessed water down the drain? Or do we have a serial killer watching us fucking with our minds? Is Scott schizophrenic, or am I, or was it there before we moved in, and somehow it's been overlooked?
But I have cleaned the mirror.
And, I'm pretty sure I'm not schizophrenic, we don't usually get problems like those...
but then my cats have been going nuts lately.. People with cats, you know cats freak out at weird times and act like total freaks!
It scared me so much, I started thinking on the way to work that this is something that everyone sees on the morning of their death but noone ever knows because...the person dies. Obviously, that didn't happen, but this was the morning after I saw it and almost shit my pants =\
I mean, who the fuck writes, "I am the self of all" on a mirror?

Sounds like a haunting to me...
[insert random bullshit about there being no such thing as "ghosts" here]

I haven't ruled it out. It's quite possible that I've encountered my first ghost. This could be my first ghost experience.

Cats freaking out is a definite indicator...
If I see my cat freaking out I usually won't be too surprised if anything weird happens. (tv shutting off on me, etc.)

I am the self of all = some inherant quality/feeling that everyone has? That's some weird stuff though.

I ran a search on it and it seems to relate to some theory that God and every other "version" of God for every religion are the same entity.

I concur with the lesbian. Also, I would like to request that you not put clothes on before snapping said shot.

Ghosts are scared of clothes on women.
When you take a picture of the mirror make sure you are naked.
I didn't know you guys were such experts on tha paranormal!

Ask Scott to stop playing jokes on you because it's freaking you out. He will stop.

LOL you should have seen Scott, he was more freaked out than I was. He got two huge knives and started walking around the apartment, and I'm thinking, "that'll sure show that spirit what's up" hehe...
Oh, and I already had the idea of taking a picture of it to show you guys, but won't the flash of the camera reflect off of the mirror and ruin the pic? tell me how to do this properly so I can show you...

On the morning radio show I listen to, every other Tuesday they have a local lady who investigates spirits etc as her career
A few weeks ago, she was talking about some of her first real experiences (as an adult, not the random things she saw as a child) with the type of energy spirits create and it was similar to yours - there was a handprint on the mirror when she got out of the shower and a name written kind of sloppy above it (I think the name was Lana or something similar) and so she asked her husband what he was doing mean things to her for, and after he swore up and down he didn't do it she investigated the house and there was a child that lived in the house with the same name that died at a young age years and years ago, she was about 9 or so when she died
Creepy stuff, though

I'm telling my story to some friends of ours on Wed night at dinner, and one of the girls says, "I am going to tell you about the clown statue story."
Her friend was babysitting for a family, had been their babysitter for a couple of years. One night while babysitting she notices the parents got a clown statue which was in the hallway, and she didn't like it because it looked scary, so she called the mom and said, "I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to cover up the clown statue you got because it's scary."
The mom said, "we don't have a clown statue."
Basically...this man was living in their attack for years and coming downstairs at night into the kids' rooms...he didn't do anything to them, just watched them.
that was her story and I never believe this crap but it's still creepy, esp because clowns and the idea of clowns are just fucked up.

Araby, have you had any friends over recently for drinks? Possibly one of them could have used the bathroom, and thought it was a good idea at the time.

I dono about you Kiz, but have you ever tried to write cursive while you're drunk?
I'm thinking it's pretty impossible to do 'neatly' while intoxicated.

yes, and I can do it. Being drunk enough to do something you think might ber funny, is not drunk enough to not be able to see right. For your benefit, I should have used the word buzzed.
P.S. The clown story gave me goosebumps.

I suppose you have a point there ~
I, on the other hand, can barely write cursive sober, so I'm probably a bit biased ><

I don't sleep in a house with clown dolls. I'd walk home if it took me 3 hours from where I was.

clowns are evil. It's almost always guaranteed clowns and clown dolls and clown doll brethren are possessed by demons.
