The only way to effectively block the internet is to not have an internet service provider.

oh jesus ok here is how it is set up,

we have our server here to support 8 computers / clubcom music system

Ok well our back room looks like a cluster fuck because of it

basically we have two towers, 2 amps, 3 modems(for diff things), 2 monitors, microwave(uhh ya right next tot hte computer), a small fridge, and a couple misc sterio equip things plugged into 2 sockets.

So we have all this shit plugged directly into 2 batterback ups to distrubte power (i guess) well each back up has 4 plug slots.. so since we have more p[lugs than slots someone (IT cough cough) decided to plug 2 power surges into a battery back up..so into one battery back up meant for 4 plugs both towers, both monitors, and about 7 other things pluuged into it...

So every time someone opened the fridge - the entire system would crash and they couldnt figure out why --erm ya. Every tv, omputer and all the music in the gym would go down for like 30 min,....oh fucking ya... hey koolaid.

hmmm, he actually plugged the fridge and microwave into the UPS's? He really is in the wrong profession.

They would have to be huge UPS's, the stuff on there would probably drain them dry in no time.

No he plugged it into the power surge that was plugged directly into the UPS, the ssecond UPS had only 1 plug from a small microphone in it, laugh

Last time the power went out I went back there and fixed it all for them so they could open the fridge with out causing everything to crash.
