Missing link between bird and dinosaur
The topic's been done to death, but hey, why not~
Here's some more macro evolution proof for you to ignore Lyion
Quick summary of the article:
Fossils found which show a transition from large carnivourous dinosaur, to smaller herbivore with feather type scales
NOTE: This alone is obviously not conclusive proof. it is part of a fragmented fossil record that indicates evolution. more evidence will come~
EDIT: Corrected spelling of missing, jeje

No matter how much evidence you put forward, the people against evolution will never be convinced. They will just continue to say there is no evidence of it.

Seriously, if you're going to be argumentative at least formulate an argument that can't be countered by reversing the terms.

Until Jesus, Buddha, and all the rest of the Super Best Friends come down here, in person, and show me otherwise, I'll continue to assume that our current theories regarding evolution are, more or less, how things got to the point where they are today~

Evolution? Bwahaha, how foolish a notion. Next you'll be telling me someone landed on the moon!

Even if you thought you saw or met Jesus or Buddha, the data would overwhelmingly suggest that you had become delusional.
If Jesus appeared in a flash of light or I received a message from God, it would not make me believe in God. I would assume it to be an illusion.

Yes, it's always convenient to pretend to be learned, yet ignore evidence contrary to your particular stance on an issue

... but "look, you can't prove macroevolution, therefore we were created by a big bearded guy in the sky case closed" is sound logic?

When did I ever say that, Diab?
I subscribe to Microevolution because facts support it and it is sound. I do not subscribe to macroevolution because what I have read has huge gaping holes.
I'd apply that argument to yourself, Tikk. I'll gladly look at facts, and I do. I do not *push* my views on others. Why are you determined to lump everyone into 'Mindiaesque' categories? It seems like you are determined to "fight" anyone who doesnt agree with your views, which is a shame.

I've never tried to prove to anyone that God exists, why do you guys have such burning need to prove that he doesn't.

Somehow they feel they are better than those who believe in a God.
I think they're ignorant pricks.

Why does proving that evolution happened have anything to do with the existance of god?

I dunno, I believe both and sense no conflict.

You've stated multiple times, Lyion, that you don't believe in macro evolution, and support creationism
You state you'll gladly look at facts, yet since we've started this long winded dialogue there have been two seperate new transitional fossils found that you've immediatly dismissed as irrelevant.
You're being lumped in with Mindia because you're acting like Mindia.

I see no difficulty in someone believing both in evolution and believing in God. None, even if you believe in Intelligent Design. How do you claim to know the mechanism by which humanity was created? How do you know that God didn't create the universe just so, knowing that eventually Earth would be formed, life would spring up, and after a few billion years, humanity would evolve. Still God-directed, still God-created, and you still end up with humanity. If you assume God is omniscient and omnipotent and everlasting, he could easily have created the universe with exactly the right conditions to have all that happen, and what's the wait of a few billion years when you exist forever?
Me, personally, I don't believe in the Judeo-Christian god, but that's just my own personal belief. I would never attempt to disprove his existance, because such a thing would be impossible. I can merely state "I don't believe him to exist", which holds just as much weight as Ganzo saying "I believe he exists." Both are statements of belief, and thus are completely outside the realm of Science. Evolution and Cosmology, however, are scientific disciplines, and as such are very different than discussions of faith and belief.

There are some nutbar atheists who scream Evolution disproves God, and there are a lot more nutbar religious types who scream God disproves Evolution. But show me a textbook or a paper on evolution in the real world that mentions God either way, and I'll be shocked.

He also evidently doesn't believe in physics or chemistry, since he scoffs at radiodating.

"A little knowledge is a dangerous thing." -- that's Lyion in my book. With Mindia, it's more like 'no knowledge makes you look really, really stupid'.
I mean, denying that there are scads of transitional fossils is just delusional. They're there, in the rocks, in museums. It's just when you find a new intermediate species, people like Lyion point out all you've done is create TWO NEW GAPS!!!! Mindia, on the other hand, doesn't even understand what he reads.
