It's an inside joke/insult directed at me.

In a discussion Rust and I were having, I copied what I thought was an interesting conversational thread from some dude linking to a talk.origins forum and referenced it being one of the few good posts on that site, being the few articles I have read there have been somewhat lacking. My whole sentence was it seems there are some good discussions on talk.origins.

It apparently was an evolutionist taking the creationist stance trying to be clever and earn 'Loki' points, by arguing the 'other' side.

I guess I've been owned in that Farva type of way. Oh shit, you got me good.

I just pointed it out.

Not only did you quote Richard without attribution...

- You claimed macroevolution was a myth.
- I pointed out you don't even understand evolutionary theory, and challenged you to post some valid criticisms of macroevolution.
- You quoted Richard's article (without sourcing it) as 'this is a good post criticising macroevolution, not like the crap you cite from talk.origins''.
- I recognized the post, laughed my ass off, and pointed out you just *confirmed* my hypothesis that you don't understand what you're posting, since Richard's post was a deliberately crafted troll with bogus arguments against macroevolution. If you had actually read the responses to the post, real scientists on the group like Chris Nedin all recognized Richard's post as a troll and pointed out his errors (which was his aim all along to get people to recognize how many bad arguments there are out there criticizing macroevolution).

God, I'm still laughing about it days later. Not only did you proudly quote bogus arguments, you did it without a proper cite. What did I tell you about cross-checking your quotes to make sure you know they're valid or not?

I sent the details to Harter, he's always glad when a Creationist falls into his trap like you did. He's a great guy, brilliant humorist, and has been on the Net for a long, long time. link
