I can't stand up

This started this morning about 5am. I woke up because I had a dream I was locked in a small box. I sat up in bed, and my head went all dizzy. I laid back down, it went away, but when I rolled over on my side, it happened again. I got up to go wash off my face and neck (it was a hot sticky one last night) and I almost fell over because my head was so dizzy. When I got back in bed, everytime I would move my position, I would get the dizzy head. I got out of bed today, and went to the refrigerator for breakfast, and I almost fell over from the dizzyness. What is this?

Inner ear infection, probably.

Hmm, possibly, but I show no other signs of anything.

Sometimes you don't. My MIL was at a restaurant one day and suddenly couldn't stand. They had to cart her out in an ambulance. She's a nurse so she knew it was an inner ear infection.

My brother just had the same problem, maybe you have vertigo or a bad infection in your inner ear, causing your equilibrium to falter.

THis happened to me on monday. I actually fell down walking down the hall, was constantly dizzy and sick to my stomach. Then I started getting heavy nose bleeds (sexy). Went to the doctor to get my blood pressure checked, it was fine. The Doc said its a bug going around. Feel great now.

Just got back from the doctor. They tried telling me I was pregnant. I tried telling them that a pregnancy only resulted from sex, and I wasn't having any. Urine test was fine, no ear infection that they can see, but they drew alot of blood. They gave me a prescription for dizzyness.
Then he gave me a prescription for Welbutrin because I am still sleeping 12 hours aday and he thinks I may be depressed.

oh and they said if it didn't clear up in a week, I had to go get an MRI and a cat scan. I told him I didn't have insurance.

Get the cat scan anyway and tell them to bill you. Your health is more important than money.
My roomate was in the same situation and he was doubled over in pain one day and he went to the hospital and 2 hours later is appendix was out. He just got a bill in the mail for 14k but F it, what are you gonna do? Say, "no thanks, I don't have insurance, I'll just stick it out".

I have no appendix, they took it out when they removed my cancer stricken ovary. I know what you are saying though. I'll pay what I can.

I hope it is just an ear infection, if it is then it will go away in a day or three.

If your blood work is fine I assume they did a white blood cell count which ruled out any sort of infection such as an ear infection. Hopefully they also checked you for anemia and any sort of blood sugar issues. How was your BP?
You should request an MRI of your head anyway. Dizziness can be many different things. If you have any sort of blood flow/blockage issues to your brain that can cause dizziness and that is very serious.

I have been having this very problem the last few days. It's extremely unpleasant.. dizziness and nausea... are saddening.. and also very tiring.

Thats good. So it isn't BP. I would definatly demand the MRI to rule out any sort of neurological and/or vascular issue. Make sure blood flow is ok, etc. How are you feeling today?

All my tests came back normal, and I haven't had a problem since that day, except for once when my sugar plummeted. I've been working out three days a week after class, and I have lost 8 pounds on my new diet. Thanks. Oh, and my son ate my Raisenberry, I have to order somemore soon.
