He was having such a great rookie campaign. So sad to see this happen to a blooming young star, although he does play in Coors field. Freak accidents like this always make me laugh.

His story has changed. He was now carrying deer meat a tem mate gave him. Oh, and he was riding ATVs that day...... :dunno:

ATV riding is fine. Nothing in his league minimum contract voided him riding them. Todd Helton was the one giving out the deer meat also.
