I don't have the ss but I think my best from last night was around 9 killing blows, 3 deaths, 37 hk in one trip in.

I never get killing blows I always get stuck as the flag carrier for my teams. My skillz as a flag bearer are pretty well known!

Playing in the 41-50 range at level 42 and I usually have at least 1 capture per round. Last game I played last night I captured all 3 flags! Decided to go to bed with a grin

I usually have a couple flag returns too, as 80% of the time, I play defense (freezing trap on the flag for the win)

Angussun has a shitload of MC gear, Femoral is good but they're just a pickup group. I don't usually even bother going in unless it's with the guild on teamspeak anymore...people in pickup groups just don't listen.

I've lucked out and gotten a couple of pretty good pickup groups

My little guild turns out is pretty decent as well
we've managed to beat Drow (the old BoTS crew) a few times now (probably 65% win rate)

I'd actually love to be able to challenge the uber horde team on our server, but Blizz has said no intra faction challenges =\

We've gotten in with the uber alliance guild but our group ended up getting split so we /afk'd out. We were trying to get them all last night ><

Last night I lucked out with two pretty good pick up type groups as well. Ended up winning both times.

I do believe that the initiation of Batte Grounds has been a good patch (expansion). Makes the game even more worth playing. Bored with leveling and questing? Go slaughter some AF and make them feel even more pitiful!

The downside of course, is that without have a numerical crutch, the Alliance are going to have to become better at PvP. A one-on-one fight might not be a guaranteed HK in a month or two.

On Stormrage, we've got a guild group (Horde) that is like 75-1 in BGs, our cap record is something like 225-8. We've had probably 8 or 9 matches that were complete shutouts, no deaths winning 3-0. As a hunter, I average 35-45 kills per match depends on how long it takes us to do our 3 caps. On the longer matches against good teams I get upwards of 80-90 kills.

Last week: 5400 kills (2000 from one night in AV), 184k Honor, only ranked 14th =\

AF will always have more bad players. It's in the numbers. Regardless if they have more and Horde is 50% shitty players while AF is 50% shitty players, they will still have more shitty players.

1/2 of 1000 is 500, while 1/2 of 3000 is 1500... average server Horde: Alliance is 1:3

Horde will still have a better chance, especially with all the bnet n00bs chosing Alliance most of the time.

In your scenario the Alliance will also have more skilled players, by the exact same ratio. The big advantage the Horde has right now is that the skill distribution is not even. Because the roaches have such a massive population imbalance they almost always have a numerical advantage which hinders the development of their collective PvP skill.

I rarely get that many kills in BGs, mainly because I'm a paladin, but also because I'm frequently the flag carrier. The guild I'm in (same server as Soulcutter there) usually has a couple teams going at any one time, neither of them specifically put together, and we're running about a 80% win rate or higher. Only time we lose at all, really, is against Ravage or Blood of the Horde, the 2 top horde guilds. Part of it is that shamen are simply better for CTF than paladins are, and part of it is that the horde racial advantages (especially will of the forsaken) are much more PVP oriented than the alliance ones are. But also they're just good teams with talented people.

I refuse to play in an all pickup group, but frequently will play on a team that is mostly IA, but with 1-2 open slots that pickups fill. I think Soulcutter can confirm we give them some of the best fights of any of the alliance. The main reason that horde teams are racking up such huge numbers is that it's far easier and faster to get into a BG with a team on horde than it is on alliance. Average wait for a team for us is 40min-hour. Going solo it's about 20 minutes, but you're usually placed with Gimpy McSuck and the Retard Brothers, and you get stomped flat even by lousy horde teams. Top alliance last week was a mage, Vlperz who got 150k. I was 16th at about 89k.

Now, if we can just set up a 40v40 IA vs Ravage trip to Alterac, that would be the ultimate. Real strategy, actually being able to deploy the whole guild, no more artificial restrictions on my use of all my class abilities... Mmmmmm.... Would be a great fight for sure.

Yeah, IA and DaKor are some good matchups for us. I'm looking forward to a true 40-on-40 guild vs guild type fight in AV, that'd be own.

I group with good people in WG, we often 3-0 it everytime unless we're up against Blades of Wrath (MC Ragnaros farming guild), then it's a challange. But other than that, 3 druids in our group, couple shamans, and our priest, i'm the flag grabber, games over in 15 mins 3-0. =/, no more than 15 honor kills per person. Sometimes we'll get gayed by a group of 10 people who go all out defense early in the game, and it takes a lil longer, but the end result is the same. I'll take some SS's of games tomarrow and figure how to post them.

i'm mid-field defense so i don't get many kills, i'm just there to slow down people trying to stop our flag carrier

have only lost two ctf games so far with guild groups, both due to mind control/blessing of protection bullshit

Not the best by far I'm sure, but I liked this round.
