Good to hear. Another scumbag will be locked up until he dies. Serves him right for being a dick. Too bad he is already 80...
What are your thoughts on them bringing up this trial after 41 years?

Too bad it took them so long to convict him. At least he'll die in prison.

I would like to find the juror from back in the 60s who refused to convict him and lock HER up. You know what her reasoning was? "She could never vote to convict a preacher." 11-1 for conviction, and she didn't care if he was guilty or not, just that he was a preacher. He should have already been in jail for 40 years, it's a travesty that he was not. Why the judge presiding the case didn't hear her reasons for refusing to vote for a conviction, and kick her off the jury for juror malfeasance and replace her with an alternate, I will never know.

according to the article, he would have gotten about 6 years if she had voted to convict him. *shrug*

so why isn't former Grand Cyclops (actual titles.. wierd) Robert Byrd not in prison... justice isn't served!

Its a liberal plot to keep democrats out of jail.
P.S. He was on trial for MURDER, not for being in the klan.
