I saw a thing in toys are us for a preorder for grand theft auto san andreas ... anyone know anything about this game ?

I just recently started playing GTA III. I don't see the attraction. It was fun for about a 1/2 hour but I can't imagine playing through the whole thing...

The out of car gameplay is pretty horrible in that game. I got through about 60% of GTA 3 vice city before realizing it sucked. Any game you HAVE to use the book to complete 100% of it sucks. And I dont think there is one person in the entire world that has completed 100% of GTA Vice city without using cheats.

i had a blast in the first two islands on GTA3, that whole mafia/triad gang war was some fun shit. assasinations, fast cars, lotsa guns and blowin shit up.. cant go wrong.

I agree, but when it gets into finding hidden packages and doing 100 consecutive taxi missions amoung a ton of other stupid pointless things, I turn the game off and never play again. At that point it just becomes a stupid time-sink. Finding 100 hidden packages is a great achievment when your all done, but there is nothing about the process of finding 100 hidden packages that appeals to me. Its not fun one bit.
