Was watching russian news special on G8 and African aid. It raised interesting topics about throwing money to support local feudal warlords and corrupt governments, and actualy hurting local economy with free products, that local economy cannot compete with. They had few guest from Kenya, Niger and Congo, representatives of african buseness class. Those guest were saying how constant foriegn influx of money created an entire generation of lazy welfare beggars, and alowed for creation of local warlords who hold power by holding foreign aid money. They were beggin for G8 to stop sending money.

Most interesting was solution they came up with. Proposition was for recolonization of Africa. Modern version of colonization would involve wealthy advanced countries deviding continent as colonies, deposing local governments, providing new democraticaly ellected governments, building new economy, farmlands and manufacturing, etc.. Funny part was answer to funds for colonization: they proposed having corporations that would profit by indistrialising colonies, sponsor initial military takeover

Sounds like the good ole US. Good to see we can spread the laziness to other countries. We should bottle it and make it our biggest export...but then again that would involve work....
