sned pet in (99% of the time will be King Bangalash) wing clip wing clip run away like a little bitch, feign, frost trap, run away like a little bitch, hit your space bar repeatedly so you jump while shooting and turning around and then run away like a little bitch some more.

Its not hunters that are bad, its the idiots who choose the class because it was easy to level solo. It was their only option because after a short tiem they realized that no one would group with them.

I usually dont pvp on my hunter but most hunters I have seen use fairly similar tactics as casters do. Not many classes dual head to head, hell even alot of the rogues I have seen will start out stealthed, pile on quick dmg and vaish run away a bit then come back in to finish the person off

Whatever gets the job done...

Just don't be a noob and jump low levels and those low on health.

Speaking of pvp, do any of you play on a PVP server? Any fun? Or just a headache?

If facing a druid, use aspect of the wild to boost your nature resistance for you and your pet to protect against hibernate, wrath and roots. Don't bother with poison stings unless the druid is in a feral form, even then the viper sting won't drain their mana whilst shifted. Just drain a druids mana and hope they don't have innervate available. Contrary to the patch notes frost bolt/shock/trap isn't removed from shifting still. And if at all possible, stay on in-doors or stand on 'in-door' tilesets to prevent rooting kiting as well.

Take the already shitty population of 16 year old faggots.

Now multiply the faggotry by 10.

There's your PvP server.

I must say, I thought it was hyperbole. But Ive played exactly two nights now, and the chat both nights was worse than the worse /ooc spam I ever experienced in EQ. Complete morons flirting and begging for dates in general chat :ugh:

Not to mention the two naked night elf females standing on top of a bar emoting /licks and /kisses to everyone that walked by. /puke

I play on a PvP server. I generally avoid pickup groups and pretty much any contact with the general population because it is composed mostly of faggots. But I enjoy the rules and playing with my friends.

Togusa~hay~what server do you play on ?

yeah, pvp can be a pain, especially when you get the corpse camp, my friend tells me about that...

and I agree taxx, i mean, you shouldn't use any of the class skills you were given in pvp, ya know like running around stealth, hitting for big damage, then hiding again, etc., etc., i think everyone should stand toe to toe like warriors.....

I have never been more satisfied in PvP than yesterday, while I was furiously violating hunters in warsong. No matter the level difference, if they got the jump, if they had a someone helping them, I just destroyed them every time.

I love my class.

Hunters fucking suck. Blind their pet and hit them with crippling poison and it is over.

They die all the same, it only takes twice as long since you have to chase their stupid asses down and by that time theres usually 2 more night elf hunters hitting you.

The biggest lootwhore I have had the pleasure of knowing in game is a hunter. Not that I care about loot for myself, because I just don't, but.....he collects full sets of hunter gear from instances, then druid gear, shaman gear, whatever he *can* wear. Not that he ever will. He just wants it so he can say he has it.

I also remember there being this big stink about some item needed for a hunter quest that this guy wasn't even doing, but he rolled against another hunter for it who was doing the quest. He told him he was planning on starting the quest, then you could hear him say "It's worth 200 gold at least in the AH" What a jerk.

Not all hunters, but I am inclined to agree. I have met some very nice non lootwhore hunters.
