However, FUCK SHUTTLE AND THEIR STUPID ASS "TECHS".
The power button on this fucking computer is broken and three times I have sent it back, three times they have not FUCKING FIXED THE GODDAMN POWER BUTTON.

Don't buy a Cyberpower System either.
I bought two of those for personal use and they were total fucking shit. I called them up and ruined their techs about the lack of quality on the install... One of the techs actually got mouthy with me and was stupid enough to give me his name...
Dumbass dingleberry-boy should have checked the "ship to" address before he mouthed off to me... (i live 20 minutes away from their office and warehouse.)
I drove out to their corporate office in East LA and returned the machines to him in person and embarrassed the shit out of him in front of a bunch of his peers on various aspects of the shattyness of the install.
Oh and yeah I took some of the parts out and put bad parts back in and then started flashing the BIOS and unplugged it about halfway through.
Needless to say those 3500 dollars in machines were permanently destroyed for them fucking with me and my valueable time.

How is it broken? What I mean is that is it a case of it never turns the machine on, will turn it on sometimes, doesn't shut it off?

I plug it in, the red LED on the motherboard turns on, thus power is getting to the motherboard, I press the power button, nothing happens.
This was just a barebones system I purchased for a presentation machine at work. Going to be hooked up to a LCD tv in our conference room.

Open up the case and make sure the power button is correctly connected to the MB. It possible they just didn't hook it up correctly. Make sure its connected to the correct plance and that its on correcty and not backward.

The design of the case combined with the size of my hands makes that impossible without my toolkit and I keep forgetting to bring it in.

The switch is usually just two wires connected to pins on the board, all your doing when you press it is completing a circuit... you should be able to take any metal object and complete the circuit on the two pins without the switch.. needle or paperclip works well. This would help determine if it's actually the power switch or something wrong with the board it's self, although not the way you probably want to continue to operate the machine, besides annoyance factors there is also always the chance of frying the machine when you are doing this.
