I'd have to go with baseball on this one.

Hockey, although quite gay..is much more athletic.

Baseball you can be 300lbs, you dont HAVE to be in shape. You can play firstbase, play dh, and sometimes 3rd base and you dont have to be that athletic. Obviously not some fat obeesed idiot.
Hockey sux, but atleast you need to have ALOT of endurance to skate up and down the rink for a whole game

You can be a goalie and be 300lbs.

One spot in hockey, versus...3 spots in baseball?

You cannot be a huge overweight goon and play 3rd base. It is called the hot corner for a reason. You need to be quick because the ball comes there at ya fast and hard...you also need to be quick and agile for bunts.
1st base maybe, and DH really doesn't count...baseball has more positions than hockey, so of course it will have more.

You also need lots of endurance to play 162 games a year, including the play-offs if you reach that.

No idea on how much hockey games a year, plus playoffs for them

hockey plays a 82 games season. 4 rounds of best of 7 if you make it all the way to the final. Hockey is more athletic.

theres no fuckin way you could be a 300lb goalie. you stand crouched for a majority of the game, that alone would kill a 300lbers back in 1 season. goalies are some of the most atheletic and agile players on the ice.

you couldn't be 300lbs and play third base either.

OMG fine i was wrong with 3rd base, quit using it for EVERY argument, still....DH and 1st base you dont need to be in shape

that is a load of crap. you dont need to be in shape to play 1st or DH? how are you going to get through 162 games a year? obviously you are in some sort of shape if you can play on a major league team and produce.

Not a big hockey fan, huge baseball fan, but going to have to say hockey
There's a lot more idle time in baseball, hockey is constantly on the go, and skating alone takes a lot of endurance

You can't be like Harisson....but you dont need to be like miguel tejada...hockey you have to be in better condition than baseball...
You seem a little bias because you like baseball more, so does most everyone here, but hockey is more athletic

baseball requires the physical stamina of tournament poker or bowling.
I really hate baseball. Its a horribly boring sport. I like hockey when there are lots of fights. They should really encourage fighting, beating up refs and the crowd and poor sportsmanship in hockey... It would make it a fantastic sport to watch.

you have named two, one of which was not very good with in 3 years of getting fat after coming back from japan.
kruk had great athleticism.

I have played both, Hockey is far more demanding on the body then baseball. In baseball you need to be in decent shape to play some positions and great shape for others. In hockey you have to be in amazing shape to play any position. Hockey kicks your ass every day you play, there are no slow days. There is not a single day on a baseball field that would campare with even an easy day in the rink.

With baseball, there's too much standing around time with your thumb up your ass. That's why it's incredibly boring to watch. At least in Hockey, you're constantly on the move and getting in other playa's grills.

people forgot the catcher, you can be a fat ass like Carleton Fisk (sp?) and make tonnes of money.
Hockey all the way, after 2 minutes on the ice you need a break. I've played both and there isn't any comparison. The best competitor for hockey would be soccer.

Right and they are still fat asses playing baseball. Here is two more Ponson and Colon. These two guys were starting against each other last tuesday night on ESPN when the Orioles played the Angels. Both are well over 250.
