physical abuse from your boss! (work thread)

At work today, a girl left during the middle of procedure to go outside. After work, I realized while all of us we're talking, that the doctor, who's a woman by the way...slapped her on the back of the hand. She said that the doctor apologized for it, but that it happens a lot. She'll just nudge her hand out of the way, but today she pretty much slapped it.

then, another chick says that the doctor has slapped her in the face twice before. And it was while the patient was right there. She also told me that she grabbed her by the shoulders before, walked her out of the room and around to the other side and told her to stay on her side of the room.

do you think this is fucking as nutty as I think it is??

Although it wasn't right that the dentist got physical with her assistants it sounds to me like she needs to hire competent assistants who aren't noobs, and who know how to follow instructions.

Sounds like the doctor needs to watch her temper a bit

I wonder if she'd get physical with a patient.

Wall-to-wall counselling!

It's tough to render any judgement without knowing the circumstances surrounding the face slapping. Smacking someone's hand out of the way if it's innappropriately placed wouldn't get me worked up.

I would be reporting it. if this bitch has actually 'slapped her across the face' the yeah that is not tolerated. I would take the cavity drill and jam it in the dentists eye, had she done it to me.

Considering I'm married to the man I'd say I know more than you do about what he would or wouldn't do in any given situation. But, please, by all means, spout off some more about things you couldn't possibly know anything about.

I didn't catch the response to this one:
Sooo, you like, have access to nitrous oxide?

For real though, sounds like she is acting unprofessional in a position of authority.
Bad mixture IMHO.

What race / ethnic background? I only ask because in some cultures, bitch-slaps are common place.

I'm sure we're all impressed by his e-toughness, as well as you sticking up for him.

Not half as impressed as we are by the e-toughness you demonstrate in calling him out!

If you call stating a fact sticking up for someone, so be it. You probably don't know the meaning of fact either though.

He's a big boy and certainly doesn't need me to fight any of his battles for him, so I don't.

Are you calling him fat?

He could lose a few pounds....but he's also tall and when he's angry he's like the Hulk and swells up about 6 times his normal size.

Oddly enough our last name is McGee and not Banner though.
