What would you do?

Fuck all of my hot female interns.

I would have Stadiums installed in every major city, inside which homeless people will compete against eachother and the clock in all sorts of wacky games (obstacle courses, trivia of extremely basic cultural knowledge, climbing foam mountains to reach a bottle of gin, ect). The winners get money. Everyone gets food and shelter. It would pay for itself by being televised on pay per view / dvds.

Actually I wouldn't need to be president to do this.

Think about what you just said Harrison. I will break down my train of thought here so you can understand where I am coming from.

Just because YOU had bad teachers, doesn't mean they are all bad. Also, YOU were in the smaller percentage to NOT graduate, so obviously, what they are doing works for the majority.

Now, taking that, lets just say that you really did have asses for teachers. Maybe it is because that school didn't pay well enough to get good teachers. Now, if teachers got a substantial pay raise, two things WILL happen. A.) Better teachers would apply for jobs at the school, because the pay is better, and B.) The school would be able to be pickier about who they hire and raise their standards for hiring teachers because they are paying more money.

Now, putting your personal feelings aside, how can you not see that giving teachers a pay raise would not be a good thing?

Paying teachers a lot of money could work, so long as they were easy as hell to fire and didn't have unions.

Paying teachers more wouldn't improve the situation. Giving teachers more to work with would improve the situation. Giving teachers a FUN interactive way for children to learn lessons is what will improve the situation. 99% of the teachers who teach (who are good teachers to begin with) are there because they WANT to help the kids. It's not a job to them, it's something they love to do.

The problem isn't the motivation, the problem is the lack of resources.
