I've been running a comparison, but so far google and friends have not really made a choice stand out.

Anyone have any suggestions in regards to a good web hosting provider?

What are you looking to do with it? It makes a huge difference. Is it for small use (1 or 2 sites)? Are you looking for somthign thats going to be very server intensive requiring a dedicated server? How much are you looking to pay?

http://www.hostgator.com is one of the resellers that use our network to host all their servers. The hardware is great, the network is great and their support is very good.

I'm looking to run 2 domains, one commercial, one personal that will probably never be very bandwidth intensive.

My only personal requirement is they have to run Linux with PHP/Mysql.

More or less any shared hosting is going to be enough for you. I would definatly pay close attention to the mysql part. Many shared hosting companies limit you to a single database.

hostgator offerest a $10/month plan that gives you everything your looking for, though I am not sure if you would have shell access though I would say more then likely you do. I have also used liquidweb (liquidweb.com) slightly more expensive but I used them for 4 years before getting a dedicated server and never had a single problem with them.

PM me with a bit more detail about what you trying to do and I may be able to work something out for you.
