I can't connect to download direct from Blizzard atm.... at a customer site.

But I figured I could set a download running if anyone knew of a mirror.

I dont know where Gidan got it from, but I just ran some download from WoW. If I knew how to like, host it or something, I would share

Oh - and Gidan probably got it during the very brief window that the login servers were up earlier. The patch had been released and anyone that logged in at that time was able to begin the download.

He got it from a server he shares with his friend. SOMEHOW this friend gets the updates like the instant they are available...I blame the fact that he is now single and works overnights and stays up and plays every waking moment. Anyway, he puts them on his server and onhis guilds website for quick downloads.

Yes, I did. It took less than 1 minute SIXTY SECONDS 1 mississippi 2 mississippi to download the entire patch to my harddrive (the thing which saves information on your computer).

Great so when I am done with this class I can't even just go home and play... motherfucker. I think my fileplanet subscription was up long ago too, so looks like I wait in line

I sure wish I had an 8mbit/sec connection. Most companies can't even afford that - you must be rich.

Most cable connections run 1.2-2Mbit/sec connections. DSL is typically not even that fast normally in the 800Kbit-1.2Mbit range. Maybe you're running 4-6 cable connections in agregate?

Every other patch hasn't been 10 mins, it's been at 3 percent and it has been about 25-35 mins. Wtf is up with this?

I've got an 8mb and a 5mb line in my house (DSL)

under $50/month for the 2 of them (the 8 mb line has TV on it, but if the set top boxes are off, I can use all that bandwidth for downloading

Cache servers are your friend.

zomg, every now and then it's saying can't connect to peer to peer or something, going unbeleivably slow, it is usually a min or two to download the patches, someone help me la ~
