I make the same thing, except once it's all mixed together, I grate some cheddar over top, sprinkle a bit of parmeson on top, then bake it for 15 mins(or until cheese is uber bubbly)

drop a big spoonful of butter/margarine into the still warm pot, then cover with milk
voila, dough soup
ps, salt will be needed
