Re: Recent Downtime

Sorry about the downtime, everyone once in a while my monitoring software just decides to not work. I currently have no intention of taking down the site and if for whatever reason the time comes where I can no longer continue to host it, I will be happy to provide the domain, code and database to ...

As long as your in the same class C subnet you should be ok now. Let me know if I need to extend that to class B or not.

Re: Why do I have to re-login when I change IPs?

Its part of the security what I had to rebuild most of the session files. When it sees login attempts for a new IP address it fails the authentication check and requires re-verification. If your IP changes back to the original IP before the old session expires it will still use the old session ...

While, I would never wish it on you; I am still waiting for the day you break a bone or have some medical issue that requires medical care. When that day comes, what do you plan to do? Are you going to just head home and deal with the pain? Are you going to go to a hospital and have us foot the bill ...

Re: Offending the Middle District of Florida

While certainly possible, it generally not worth the effort to track this information for this type of purpose. The issue for many of these cases is when someone in that district purchases something from that individual or corporation. If that community has deemed the item to be offensive, then when ...

Re: Offending the Middle District of Florida

I would tend to agree with you. If you don't like the content, why are you looking at it? Why is someone who is putting up content in CA being charged with obscenity by a group of people in FL who could choose not to look at the material. Worse yet, why is he now in prison for it?

A federal appeals court says communities that find the materials objectionable are within their rights to prosecute the pornography producers, even though the items ...

I am actually a fan of OSX. Its more stable then windows and tends to simply run better. Say what you want about the people who do or don't like them Steve Jobs is a genius. I will admit though, I hate their advertising. Macs tend to be more expensive, however by controlling the hardware as well as ...

It really is hard not to like Brady. If he makes a bad call or a bad throw, he is the first to call himself out on it. If his O-line or his receivers screw up, he focuses the blame onto himself. He is certainly an exceptionally talented QB as well, though as was mentioned earlier, he played very ...

In the regular season, I dont think there is a team that can compete with the Saints, their offense is just so overpowering. When it gets to the post season though this may change. Ultimately I think the Pats are the only team that has a real chance regardless of their last head to head meeting. The ...

Re: Police officer tazers a 10 year-old girl...

What's the average height and weight for a 10 year old girl? 5'5" 115lbs? I wonder how the police used to handle a rowdy 10 year old before the invention of the tazer?

It is a mystery.

I guess it comes down to using a tazer, or in Gidan's world... breaking limbs.

We're far too lenient with ...

Its easy to say he shouldn't have been involved when you dont have the whole story. What I think is interesting is that everyone is criticizing the officer, but no one has said anything about the child.
