Whats a really fun class to play, possibly a pet class that has good solo survival skills? And is an asset at high end?

Necro is still one of the top 2 solo classes. Still liked in groups due to their crazy dps and lifetap heals, but ...

Yeah, AB has kept the largest population since release. Not too crowded, but just perfect. Usually can find a group at any level in a few minutes.

Single player is short, but the multiplayer is some of the best out there.

Look me up as Riffs (39 Dirge) if you need any help on AB. RoK has newbie stuff till 22ish then again from 60-80. The landscape is HUGE, and absolutely incredible. I have a 70 alliance rogue on the pvp server Jaedenar collecting dust. Keyed for Kara etc.. All my friends seldom play anymore so I just let those characters collect dust while I'm playing EQ2. I'm letting a friend of mine play my other horde 70's.

Yeah, I actually didn't stick around long in LOTR. Went back to WoW for as long as I could stand it. Been back on EQ2 for a little while now just playing casually. I have a 38 Necro, 38 Dirge, and just rolled up a new Assassin last night.

Ombra on Antonia Bayle. Also play alts Notte and Riffs.

I have 3 70's in WoW due to one fact. All my friends play there. The easiness of WoW and it's mechanics are fun concepts, but get tiring very quick. That is IMHO~

Well every class can solo, but some much better than others. Plus the amount of quests available is staggering. Join a casual guild with plenty of stable of members, and do turn ins to NPC's to build guild status. This gives you discounts with vendors and opens up items to buy. Tons of Heritage ...

EQ2 is a lot of fun, it's just an issue if you don't have friends your level to play with.

Been in beta and quite enjoying it. I have a minstrel (healer) and guardian (tank) ready to go when live begins. My guild in WoW is deep in Karazhan and for nearly 4 weeks I've not logged on once due to my enjoyment of this game.

I almost replied to the thread saying "I bet he typed that 5 page response in about 30 seconds while playing his WoW rogue and his EQ bard (while twisting 34 songs) simultaneously.

I type pretty damn fast, but that guy was just nuts.
