EQ strong still ;) 16 years this year since Vene / Patrick & I started dating! Boys are 8 & 10...crazy how fast time goes by.
No big updates...still in Oregon wine country. Patrick still at GE, telecommutes with trips up on the train to Seattle about once a month now since they moved his office. I ...

Vene got me one :) stood in line with the oldest kiddo. It goes well with my original Nintendo :) and I'm a sucker for Mario.

Re: Life updates

That stinks! ;(. Nothing like playing the waiting game when you have a heart problem!!! Hopefully you get it moved up! I take care of patients after ICD placements, open heart surgery etc. You have a good game plan with resting and movie watching! Don't be a tough guy with pain control ...take it if ...

Re: Life updates

Grats on your career Sav! Sounds like you really love your job. How's Patrick doing?

Patrick still slaving away for GE being the saint of a hubby for putting up with my crazy night shift schedule. He still plays random games and helps the boys install new games to play so is turning them into ...

You guys are speaking my language ...couldn't help but notice the heart talk when I popped in tonight! Re: No one left to argue with!

I have this dread and excitement about taking the boys to Disneyland soon. I have no problem taking them out of school to find some off peak time but I have friends that love to go on Halloween and Christmas time then b*tch about the lines. I'll probably be looking for pointers here soon ...

Hi! I randomly pop in and check to see if there's anything new or exciting! I graduated in December with my BSN/Nursing and got a new grad RN residency position in critical care on a Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVCU). We take open heart surgery patients, any post cath. lab procedure patients like ...

Savanna Banana sighting!

First Vonk, now you.. Seems Oregon is the NT hot destination.

Oregon is not my dream destination. I blame Veneficus (aka husband) for dragging me up here. He had me thinking Oregon was beautiful, lush and green....failed to mention the never ending gloomy skies and rain ...

Re: Walk away or stay - housing

We had a guy in our neighborhood buy one of the largest models, had a vette sitting in his garage and toys galore. He bought another home in another state and let this one foreclose. Pissed off the neighbors of course who have to see this house sit there and look like crap. I've heard of a few ...

Re: it's that time again.....summer adventures

I grew up having a tent trailer / pop-up camper like that when I was young so I like them too. But we are looking at either a hard side trailer like the trailmanor or a hybrid version m and lastly we'd look at a regular travel trailer. The Trailmanor is ideal because it's hard sided and pops up, it ...

Wow those are neat.

We've had a years worth of rain already. I'm not ridiculously far from you guys

Where are you at? We are having one hell of a rough summer start so far. I think we finally got to 80 last weekend. Definitely on some record books for rain and cold weather which sucks for a sun ...

Re: it's that time again.....summer adventures

Oh how fun!!! We have been looking at getting a camper but probably will wait until next summer sadly because my budget went up once I saw the Trailmanors campers.

Too rainy up here in the NW right now for much camping, especially with 2 kiddos! A camper would definitely make things easier though.

Alexis is a pretty name but if you are thinking it's to popular you could use it as a middle even.

We are doing well. Our oldest just turned 3 and our youngest will be 1 at the end of April. Enrolled Braysen in preschool for next fall and can't believe where the time went!!! I am back to school for ...

let's hope I don't ever have boys, because I just have no names for that! have plenty of girl ones, though, that I refuse to speak aloud lest they become too popular >.<

I'm pretty sure Ashley was in the top 3, if not #1, name in '83. I hated it so much as a kid having to be distinguished as big ...

that's pretty cute! I had to show Vene it but I would hope that if we do have a 3rd in the future, we would have a girl finally! Having 2 boys...3 if you count the hubby is already too much!

That could make a cute playroom though....if I wasn't doing Dr. Seuss!
