Oh how fun!!! We have been looking at getting a camper but probably will wait until next summer sadly because my budget went up :) once I saw the Trailmanors campers.

Too rainy up here in the NW right now for much camping, especially with 2 kiddos! A camper would definitely make things easier though.

Had our first trip last weekend up near Lapeer MI. Your Coleman looks just like my old one, is that with king or queen sized beds?

Where are you at? We are having one hell of a rough summer start so far. I think we finally got to 80 last weekend. Definitely on some record books for rain and cold weather which sucks for a sun lover like I am.

The main reason for wanting a Trailmanor is that we can still fit a small one in our garage it looks like. But we are going to see whether it is worth paying the $$ for one of those vs. getting a lightweight travel trailer for less $$ and just pay for storage. The key is pulling it with my car :)

get a tent trailer like we have

it's 25' long when it's extended, 2x king beds, etc etc

you're in the portland area, yeah?

we're in saskatchewan

it's more than a hop and a skip away, but we're actually heading that way to do some kayaking next summer

I grew up having a tent trailer / pop-up camper like that when I was young so I like them too. But we are looking at either a hard side trailer like the trailmanor or a hybrid version http://www.forestriverinc.com/nd/hybrid_campers.asp and lastly we'd look at a regular travel trailer. The Trailmanor is ideal because it's hard sided and pops up, it has a hitch that swivels sideways so we could put it in the garage just barely. It's just the price that is killing it for me a bit and of course I have to convince Vene that we "need" it. His dad is kind of anti-tent trailer so that's why we are leaning towards hard sides.

Yah, you are a bit up north of us. :) I'm hoping honestly that we won't be up in this gloomy, horrible NW for much longer but I have to finish my nursing school first!
